Ciampagnis Vieris means “ancient properties” in Friulano dialect and refers to state lands, ­belonging to the Hapsburg Empire, that were granted to the rural families who lived in Mariano del Friuli in the 18th century.

Soil: Shallow with gravel-pebble texture, some clay, reddish hue due to ferrous and aluminum oxide

Cold maceration at 46°F for 20 hours followed by cold settling; fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 21 days using selected yeasts with no malolactic fermentation

Aging Process
Matured on lees for six months in stainless steel tanks and bottle refined for 10 month

Tasting Notes
Color: Bright straw yellow color
Bouquet: The nose is intense with juicy notes of citrus fruits and apple, together with sweet notes of crystalized honey and lemon meringue
Flavor: On the palate it is rich, fresh, medium to full bodied, with a mineral and flavorful finish
Pairings: Ideal with seafood dishes, pasta and first courses, barbecues
