Fattoria di San Fabiano
Putto Chianti DOCG

San Fabiano, a family-owned estate, covers 750 acres which are divided into three large vineyards facing south. The founder, Borghino di Taddeo Baldovinetti (1120) came from a noble Florentine family. The present Count Gianluigi Borghini Baldovinetti as well as his paternal grandmother, come from de Bacci Venuti of Arezzo nobility. Today, he carries on the winemaking tradition of his family. The virtues of this noble property, situated outside of Arezzo and spanning over to Montepulciano, should not be underestimated. The estate focuses its efforts on old Sangiovese vines. The Chianti Putto boasts “heart and soul”.
