The 2012 vintage is the first expression of Scurati as a pure Grillo wine. Always focused on the native varietals of this ancient winemaking island, Ceuso crafts a refreshing Grillo that shows off all the personality of this indigenous white varietal by merely optimizing the grape’s inherent characteristics in the winery using state-of-the-art technology.

Vinification
Manual harvest in September followed by static decantation of must after the removal of grape stalks and soft pressing; fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 60°F for 16 days using selected yeasts

In stainless steel vats with brief contact with fine lees

Color: Brilliant straw yellow
Bouquet: Rich nose with floral and mineral notes accented by hints of citrus
Flavor: Fresh and balanced with excellent acidity and a long finish
Pairings: Ideal with crustaceans, fish, grilled vegetables and fresh or medium-aged cheeses
