This wine takes its name from the noble Raineri de Ricasoli, whose family owned the estate from the early 1200s to 1968. The first vintage of Rainero was 1999.

Aging Process
12 months in French oak barriques, 12 months in the bottle

Tasting Notes
Color: Impenetrable ruby red color with violet hues
Bouquet: On the nose it shows intense scients of berries and spices with tobacco and coffee notes
Flavor: Great roundness and excellent structure with significant tannins, well sustained by a good alcohol concentration. Long and pleasant finish.
Pairings: Perfect with long-cooked meat dishes, pot roasts, pasta with game sauces.
