Weingut Allram
Riesling Gaisberg 1.ÖTW

This Riesling is the ‘first harvest’ of the Gaisberg vineyard, fruity and fresh, juicy and elegant, good length. This wine reflects the poor mineral soils as well as the climatic difference between night and day and demonstrates the greatness of this vineyard site.

The Gaisberg is the southernmost foothill of the Manharts Mountain and thus the Bohemian Massif. Form this point on towards the east and the south, the geological and climatic conditions change drastically. This transitional horizon is what makes this location with southern exposure so special. This was named one of Austria’s best white wines.
