Felice Ceci Nero di Troia Riserva Castel del Monte DOCG
This wine is made with 100% Uva di Troia, a native grape of Puglia, in particular of the areas around Andria and Barletta, in the province of Bari. The name probably refers to the town of Troia (FG), the legendary founder of which was the Greek hero Diomedes, after he had destroyed the ancient Troy. It is also called “Nero di Troia”, and as a Reserve wine with two years minimum of aging, was awarded the DOCG appellation in 2011. The name honors Felice Ceci, the father of Giancarlo.
