Lecinquevigne Barolo Riserva DOCG

This Barolo is crafted from Nebbiolo cultivated in five distinct townships. “Lecinquevigne” means indeed “Five Vineyards”, which are: Castellero, located northeast of the village of Barolo with western exposure; Monvigliero, located in Verduno with southern exposure; Fossati, located in La Morra with east-southeast exposure; Ravera, located in Novello with southwestern exposure; and Cavourrina, located in Grinzane Cavour with west-southwest exposure. This Barolo Riserva is produced only in great years. The first vintage was 1999.

Aged 36 months in large oak barrels of 35 Hl and in second use French oak barriques. 24 months in the bottle before the release

Color: The color is ruby red with orange reflections
Bouquet: The bouquet is intense and complex with tertiary notes of dry flowers (rose, violet), leather, tobacco and fresh balsamic sensations
Flavor: The taste is very elegant, well-structured and balanced, with soft tannins and a persistent finish
Pairings: Perfect with red braised meat, game, mushrooms and aged cheese
