Istituto Agrario di San Michele all'Adige

An extension of the renowned institute, the winery of San Michele is located in what was once an Augustan monastery in the 12th century. Expanded over the course of the last 20 years, the winery today features modern enological technology that is dedicated to the production of indigenous varietals like Lagrein that represent the unique history of winemaking in Trentino.

Six months on the lees. Two months in the bottle before the release

Color: Straw yellow with green hues
Bouquet: Extremely elegant and complex bouquet on the nose, with hints of roses, aromatic herbs and a slight smoky sensation
Flavor: On the palate it is balanced with enjoyable acidity, a touch of sweetness and a long mineral finish. One of the long-life white wines from Trentino
Pairings: Highly versatile; pairs well with vegetable-heavy dishes, Asian cuisine white meats and pork
