  • Score: 93 Vintage 2021 Wine Advocate The 2021 Langhe Nebbiolo opens to dark primary fruit with medium concentration and elegant tones of dried blackberry and pressed cherry. There is a soft earthy quality to the wine that recalls tea, dried tobacco leaf or peat moss. However, the slightly more concentrated quality of Nebbiolo offered by this wine is the main attraction. Cola or dried mint adds lift at the end. This is a release of 140,000 bottles. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 91 Vintage 2021 Vinous Media The 2021 Langhe Nebbiolo is a serious wine that will give readers a very good idea of what is in store with this vintage. Just bottled, the 2021 shows great depth and tons of character. Firm tannins wrap around a core of dark red Nebbiolo, with embryonic hints of spice and flowers that develop with a bit of air. As always, the Produttori's Langhe Nebbiolo is made 100% from Barbaresco-designated vineyards. The 2021 spent 20 days on the skins, unheard of for a wine at this level. It is, quite frankly, better than a few wines from more prestigious appellations. Don't miss it. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 88 Vintage 2021 Wine Spectator A firm, sinewy red marked by cherry, berry, tar, iron and anise flavors. Finishes on the compact side, with moderate length. Drink now through 2026. 16,000 cases made, 1,500 cases imported. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 91 Vintage 2020 James Suckling Quite a spicy nosed, with a smoky note to the rich red berries. Medium-bodied with intense fruit flavors and a tight, just-right tannin structure. Drink now. Shelf Talker Full Page Review

  • Score: 89 Vintage 2020 Vinous Media Bottled a year ago and from a riper vintage, the 2020 Langhe Nebbiolo is a gorgeous wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. Sweet red cherry, cedar, tobacco, mint and dried flowers all grace this soft, inviting Langhe Nebbiolo from Produttori. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 88 Vintage 2019 Vinous Media The 2019 Langhe Nebbiolo is a rich, explosive wine at this level. A rush of sweet red kirsch, mint and cinnamon give the 2019 an exuberant, captivating feel. Aromatic, rich and generous, the Langhe Nebbiolo delivers the goods. Readers should expect an extroverted style. The 2019 was aged in cement and neutral cask. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 92 Vintage 2018 Wine Advocate As a palate teaser before this lovely flight of Riservas from Produttori del Barbaresco, I am delighted to start off with the delicate and fine 2018 Langhe Nebbiolo. Showing a light ruby color, this wine takes baby steps with hints of wild rose, dried blueberry, crushed limestone and powdered licorice. It sports a fragile, fine texture. If you crave for a basic and absolutely satisfying taste of pure Nebbiolo, look no further. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 90 Vintage 2018 Wine Enthusiast Rose and wild berry aromas lead the way, while the palate offers ripe Marasca cherry, raspberry compote, star anise and a hint of iron. It's full bodied but accessible, thanks to pliant tannins and fresh acidity. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 89 Vintage 2018 Wine Spectator Macerated cherry, eucalyptus, tobacco, white pepper and tar flavors combine in this wiry red. There is fine purity to the fruit. The balanced tips toward the tannins now, so decant or age a little longer. Drink now through 2024. 14,000 cases made, 6,500 cases imported. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 91 Vintage 2017 Wine Advocate The 2017 Langhe Nebbiolo is an elegant expression that shows tonic and fresh fruit with wild berry, rose hip and tilled earth. This wine excels in terms of presenting Nebbiolo in its most pure and naked state. This vintage shows an extra level of concentration and textural richness with a clear tannic bite on the close.
