It was 61% aged in new barrels for up to 12 months. The nose offers gentle notes of blackcurrant with hints of pepper and jam over faint aromas from the aging process. The unusual nose offers notes of almond cookie, leather, tobacco leaf and oak. Intense and concentrated on the palate.
