  • Score: 94 Vintage 2021 Jeb Dunnuck The 2021 Pinot Noir English Hill is from the not-yet-official Sebastopol Hills AVA, nestled within the Sonoma Coast. The wine displays a youthful medium magenta color and is more lush on the nose, with aromas of wild ripe blue and red berries, fennel, wild spices, and fresh violets. It has broader shoulders, with a weightless but expansive feel, ripe tannins, and a long finish. In the cellar, it was raised in about 20% new Burgundy barrels, with slightly more stems and about 30% whole clusters in fermentation. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 92 Vintage 2021 Wine Enthusiast Savory and woodsy on the nose, this wine shows aromas of dried cherry, forest floor, plum skin and black tea. The palate comes across with black cherry, shiitake and dried cocoa-powder flavors in a framework of grippy tannin. A few years in the cellar should soften the edges nicely. • Score: 92 Vintage 2021 Wine Spectator A textbook '21 Sonoma Coast Pinot, this offers a focused and racy beam of blood orange and raspberry coulis notes flecked with a mouthwatering savory accent. Red tea and incense details underscore the finish. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
