- Score: 92 Vintage 2016 Vinous Media The 2016 Pinot Noir Blauburgunder is smoky and intense, lulling you in with its exotic mix of sweet curries, dried roses and crushed raspberries. This is silky-smooth yet lifted and tinged with salty minerals, as balsam herbs and hints of dark chocolate complicate its tart strawberry fruits. It leaves a coating of round tannins upon the palate, which is nicely offset by a bump of residual acidity, as violet inflections and nuances of blueberry slowly taper off. The combination of delicate textures and energy mixed with depths of fruit makes the 2016 Blauburgunder a total pleasure to taste. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
