- Score: 92 Vintage 2018 Wine Advocate The 2018 Pinot Noir Jessie James Vineyard has a medium ruby-purple color and scents of red, blue and black berries with notes of graphite, lilac, powdered sugar and citrus peel. The palate is firm and powerful, holding its dark fruits in a gently chalky grip and finishing with loads of juicy freshness. It's a touch closed at the moment and will benefit from another year or two in bottle. 275 cases produced. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
- Score: 92 Vintage 2018 Vinous Saturated crimson. Vibrant, sharply focused raspberry, cherry, baking spice and floral pastille scents show strong mineral lift, and a hint of earthiness emerges with air. Juicy red fruit, rose pastille and spicecake flavors are given spine by a core of juicy acidity. Concentrated yet lithe, delivering solid closing cut, discreet tannins and a resonating red berry note. 8% new oak. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
