Score: 90Vintage 2016Wine AdvocateHere's a new taste of Alta Langa, one of the most exciting up-and-coming sparkling wine regions in Europe. The Pecchenino 2016 Alta Langa Metodo Classico Pas Dosè Psea opens to a pale golden color with a single drop of copper that gives the wine an even more radiant appearance. This pretty sparkler shows fine, sharp beading and a very chiseled bouquet with an emphasis on white mineral or crushed granite. The fruit intensity is dim and delicate, focused mostly on citrus and grapefruit. The style is light and streamlined, but the wine shows lots of easy zesty appeal.Shelf TalkerFull Page Review
