Like its more famous neighbors Tuscany and Umbria, Le Marche boasts Mediterranean flora like Cyprus trees, olive trees, and vines spread across a hilly landscape, and dotted with medieval villages.
Score: 89Vintage 2019Vinous MediaThe NV Visciole Querciantica (Lot# 215335) opens like a freshly poured glass of pure cherry juice blended with hints of candied orange and mint. It’s silky in texture, with a pronounced inner sweetness that’s nicely complemented by notes of cranberry sauce, cloves and dried nectarine. This finishes with admirable length and concentration, as a light coating of round tannin frames it well, and all of the aromas and flavors found within echo throughout. Frankly, this sweet blend of 70% Lacrima and 30% Sciroppo di Visciole is a lot of fun.Shelf TalkerFull Page Review
