Estate
Bodega Corazón del Sol is a boutique winery in Los Chacayes, Tunuyán, Mendoza, Argentina. The project was founded by Dr. Madaiah Revana after his first visit to Mendoza in 2008. The first vines on Dr. Revana's Vineyard were planted in 2008. The winery is strongly associated with Rhône varieties in Argentina, particularly Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah, while its portfolio also includes Malbec and other varieties.
Climate
Corazón del Sol's estate is in Los Chacayes, Uco Valley, at the foot of the Andes. The vineyard receives more than 300 days of sunshine per year. The estate is approximately 3,400–3,600 feet above sea level. The winery emphasizes the combination of high elevation and an arid environment.
Soil
The estate vineyard is planted along an ancient riverbed at the base of the Andes. The soils are deep alluvial soils derived from rock and sand eroded from the Andes over thousands of years.
