Estate

Located in Chambolle-Musigny since 1910, the Roblot-Marchand estate embodies a tradition deeply rooted in Burgundy's winemaking history. Across 8 hectares spread around this iconic village in the Côte de Nuits, the Roblot family carefully cultivates exceptional terroirs.

Soil

The Chambolle-Musigny is described as calcareous with bedrock and gravel in the valley floor, while the Echezeaux Grand Cru is described as Bajocian marl with an overlying layer of pebbles.

Vineyards

The vineyards are located in the terroirs of Chambolle-Musigny, Vosne-Romanée, and Gevrey-Chambertin. The domaine's holdings include old vines. The range includes village, Premier Cru, and Grand Cru wines.

Cultivation

The domaine practices lutte raisonnée (integrated pest management) across its parcels, with limited use of fertilizers and regular plowing to aerate the soil. Harvesting is manual.

Winery

The domaine's wines are generally aged in oak barrels for approximately 16–18 months, depending on the vintage.

Family

In 2001, Frédéric Roblot took over the family business, with his wife, Andrée, joining the team in 2005. He decided to discontinue the retail operations his parents had been running up to that point to devote himself entirely to winemaking and bottling the wines directly at the winery, thereby affirming his commitment to authenticity and mastery of the product.
