Levee & Loam is a California wine brand. The brand is part of the Crafted Brands portfolio and is a California wine family built around the viticultural environment of the Sacramento Delta. Its name directly reflects the two defining elements of the brand story: the levees and waterways that shape the local microclimate, and the loam soils in which the vines grow.

Climate

The Sacramento Delta has a Mediterranean-style climate, with warm, dry summers and cool, wet winters. Cooling winds from the Pacific Ocean travel inland through the Delta's network of waterways and levees, acting as a natural air conditioner and helping grapes retain acidity.

Soil

Diverse alluvial soils formed through geological events and the movement of water through the Delta. Named regional soil types include Tokay Fine Sandy Loam, Tuscan Stony Loam, San Joaquin Loam, and Archerdale Clay Loam.

Cultivation

The grapes are 100% sustainably farmed, hand-selected, and sorted so that the best fruit enters each batch.
