Estate

Champagne Patrick Boivin is based in Épernay and traces its vineyard origins to Cumières. The estate has expanded progressively around Épernay and the Premier Cru villages of the Marne Valley and the southern slopes of Épernay.

Vineyards

The vineyard covers approximately 6 hectares across eight villages. The estate cultivates the three principal Champagne varieties: Chardonnay, Meunier, and Pinot Noir.

Cultivation

Four generations of integrated viticulture (lutte raisonnée). Each parcel is cared for throughout the seasons.

Winery

In 2022, the family built a new operating and production site at Pierry in response to environmental challenges associated with the different cuvées. The range includes traditional Champagne cuvées as well as parcel and village-focused wines. The wines receive extended aging: approximately 3 years for Brut, 5 years for Réserve, and from 10 to 20 years for certain vintage wines. The estate also produces Côteaux Champenois matured in oak barrels.

Family

The family story begins with the great-grandfather, who planted the first vines at Cumières, and Marie-Antoinette, who continued the vineyard after his death. In 1978, Patrick Boivin and Marie-Madeleine, the granddaughter of Marie-Antoinette, formalized the family project under the name Patrick Boivin. Their daughters Céline and Baptistine are now progressively carrying the estate into its fourth generation.
