Score: 93Vintage 2021Wine SpectatorPure and elegant, boasting black currant, blackberry, violet and mineral flavors, with oak spice flashes. Expressive and racy, this red is defined by vivid acidity. Dusty tannins linger on the long finish. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Best after 2028.Shelf TalkerFull Page Review
Score: 93Vintage 2021James SucklingDeep aromas of currants and berries, with hints of scorched orange peel and chili chocolate. The medium-bodied palate shows focused currants riding firm, medium-grain tannins and leading to a long, flavorful finish. I like the concentration of fruit here. Ever present and ever fresh. Drink now for the freshness, but this should mature well over the next few years.Shelf TalkerFull Page Review

Score: 91Vintage 2019Wine AdvocateThis is a blend of equal parts Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon that was first produced in 1992. The Castello del Terriccio 2019 Tassinaia hits a very attractive price point and offers lots of dark fruit concentration and richness along the way. Grilled herb, candied watermelon, tar and spice appear on the nose. The wine travels over the palate with some sharpness, good freshness and overall accessibility.Shelf TalkerFull Page Review
