“This is such a beautiful and spicy wine with blackberry, cinnamon and cardamom undertone. Full body, firm and silky tannins. Serious sagrantino showing how its finesse makes it best. Drink now.”

“A savory, full-bodied version, in the traditional style, with tobacco, leather and earth notes leading to more subtle dried cherry and spice accents that swathe the dense and chewy tannins. Best after 2020. 7,500 cases made.

“So much pressed lavender to the nose here as well as the classic brambleberries but also some hints of sour cherries, leather and Chinese spices. This is full and delicious with moath-coating tannins, driven acidity and a compact yet long finish. Better in 2020”. -James Suckling

"I like the aromas of almonds, dried fruits and mushrooms that follow through to a full body. Lots of shaved-chocolate character too. Long, flavorful finish. A polished sagrantino. Give it a year or two to soften."
