Bruni

Overview
Estate
Founded in 1956, Azienda Bruni is a family-run estate based in Maremma. The winery has evolved from a traditional farm into one of the leading producers of Morellino di Scansano, with vineyards spread across the Maremma.
Climate
The estate benefits from a Mediterranean climate influenced by the Tyrrhenian Sea. Constant ventilation and abundant sunlight favor the full ripening of Sangiovese while preserving freshness.
Soil
The vineyards are planted on diverse soils, ranging from clay and sandstone to calcareous deposits. This geological diversity enables the family to match each variety to its most suitable site.
Vineyards
Around 40 hectares of vineyards are located between Scansano and the surrounding hills. Sangiovese is the cornerstone variety, complemented by Vermentino, Alicante, and selected international grapes.
Cultivation
Viticulture focuses on site selection, controlled yields, and sustainable farming practices to express the distinct terroirs of the Maremma.
Winery
Modern vinification facilities are paired with careful parcel selection. The winery strives to preserve fruit purity while producing wines that reflect the character of each vineyard area.
Family
Three generations of the Bruni family have contributed to the estate's development, preserving a strong agricultural identity and deep roots in Scansano.
Winemaker
The technical team, guided by Marco Bruni and advised by Lorenzo Landi, follows a style centered on varietal definition, territorial expression, and the enhancement of Morellino di Scansano.
