2023 The Wine Advocate 92 Dec 2025 Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 94 Vintage 2023 Decanter This is a sum of its parts wine. It spends 11 months in barrel, using 20% whole cluster, the focus here is organic and volcanic. The 2023, at 70% Dundee Hills and 30% Eola Amity, Comprised of Holstein, Koosah, Temperance and Theory a small four acre site at the top of the Dundee Hills. This is an elevation of your Willamette Valley bottling that comes in at around $45. Beautifully floral and elegant with a forest borne richness that adds a dark lushness to the aromatics. The palate sits upright, a purity of dark berry fruits, some sauvage and a gorgeous saline streak that cuts to the finish. The aromatics aren't overt, says Jackson, but instead, piercing and focused.
