  • Score: 89 Vintage 2022 Vinous Media The 2022 Brachetto d’Acqui Pineto lifts from the glass with a seductive bouquet of sweet roses, cloves, cinnamon tea and black cherries. This presents a lovely inner sweetness balanced by juicy acidity. Crisp wild berry fruits cascade under an air of violet inner florals. The Pineto cleans up beautifully through the finish, with medium length and a wild strawberry staining. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 85 Vintage 2022 Wine Enthusiast Wild fresh raspberries burst out of the glass, with subtle hints of fresh thyme and violets. Crunchy red berries on the palate give a pop; there's a soft fizziness on the finish. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 87 Vintage 2020 Wine Advocate Brachetto d'Acqui is a bit retro and old fashioned as far as wine styles go. However, this deeply loved sweet sparkling red wine taps right into some of the most heartfelt traditions and cultures of Piedmont. The Marenco 2020 Brachetto d'Acqui Pineto opens to a very light ruby color, with simple aromas of wild raspberry, cassis and bitter almond. The acidity and fresh beading would make a great partner to a raspberry and cream custard tart. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
