Score: 92Vintage 2023Kerin O KeefeAromas of rose, crushed mint and wild berry come to the forefront on the fragrant 2023 Langhe Nebbiolo from Poderi Luigi Einaudi. Showing great class, the polished palate is also delicious, doling out layers of succulent Morello cherry, crushed raspberry and baking spice while the barest hint of truffle gives the finish depth. Lithe tannins keep it smooth and accessible while fresh acidity keeps it balanced. Drink through 2028.Shelf TalkerFull Page Review
Score: 90Vintage 2023Jeb Dunnuck Pouring a rich ruby color, the 2023 Langhe Nebbiolo offers a deep bouquet of raspberry liqueur, minty herbs, crushed flowers, and dark spices. The palate is fruity and has medium to full-bodied richness, its sweetly noted fruit lasting on the palate, with ripe tannins and a nicely tapering finish. It’s approachable now, although it will improve a bit over the next 6-12 months as it sheds some of its more primary fruit. It will drink well over the coming 4-5 years.Shelf TalkerFull Page Review

Score: 88Vintage 2023The Wine Advocate The Poderi Luigi Einaudi 2023 Langhe Nebbiolo shows a hint of sweetness that comes across as cocktail cherry or maybe something like a cherry cough drop. There is a distant hint of cinnamon or spearmint at the back that gives the bouquet extra lift and directness. The wine is tart and angular in terms of mouthfeel with the freshness to pair with soft cheeses. It ferments in steel and ages in tonneaux. Production is 73,000 bottles.Shelf TalkerFull Page Review
Score: 91Vintage 2022James SucklingInviting nose of plums, sour cherries, oranges, tobacco and tar. Firm and well-framed, yet the tannins melt into the fruit. Medium- to full-bodied, lengthy and delicious. Drink or hold.Shelf TalkerFull Page Review
Score: 89Vintage 2022Wine EnthusiastSweet and savory spices such as clove, anise and savory spices open up the nose of this classic Nebbiolo. As the wine develops, notes of macerated raspberry and dried cherries waft by, leading to a palate that shows ample red fruit but keeps it balanced with a mix of dried herbs, roses and roasted earth on the finish.Shelf TalkerFull Page Review
