Score: 92Vintage 2019Vinous MediaThe 2019 Piè delle Vigne is a single-vineyard expression of Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo. This is a wine of contrasts, rich yet finessed, sometimes savory and sometimes sweet, full of vivid red berry fruits, but also smoky and deep. It soothes the palate with plush textures and ripe cherry-berry tones, as juicy acidity maintains marvelous freshness. A bitter tug of zesty citrus lingers, along with hints of crunchy tannins; and yet, the 2019 leaves the mouth watering for more. The magic of Montepulciano.Shelf TalkerFull Page Review
