- Score: 94 Vintage 2020 Wine Enthusiast While the wine is full of black fruits, it is the quality of the tannins and the fruit compote sweetness that make it stand out. The wine is finely textured and rich. Drink this fine Port from 2029. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
- Score: 92 Vintage 2020 Wine Spectator Fresh and relatively open-knit, with generous plum sauce and blackberry compote flavors lined with light licorice and alder hints. Pretty, and should be an early maturer. Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa and Sousão. Best from 2033 through 2048. 9,900 cases made. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
- Score: 90 Vintage 2018 Wine Advocate The 2018 Vintage Port is mostly Touriga Nacional (70%), with the rest Touriga Franca, aged for 24 months in neutral tonels. It comes in with 91 grams of residual sugar. A very friendly 2018, this has relatively ripe tannins, reasonable depth and a tasty finish. The nose is laced with some eucalyptus (some would say "cistus," but that's a bit obscure) aromas. The fruity demeanor makes it rather delicious. Walking down the middle of the road, this is a well-constructed but very accessible Port that does everything well—but little stands out. It should age well and develop more. It is drinking fairly decently right now. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
- Score: 95 Vintage 2011 Wine Spectator An exuberantly fruity style, with floral-infused raspberry, dark cherry and currant flavors that are pure and fresh. Minerally midpalate, showing mocha and peppery notes on the long, muscular finish. Pure, complex and almost monolithic. Best from 2030 through 2050. 750 cases made. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
