Staglin Family Vineyard, nestled in Rutherford, California, boasts a profound 130-year viticulture heritage and a captivating history. Initially settled by viticulture pioneers in the Spring Mountain District AVA, the Staglin family bought this remarkable estate in 1985. The vineyard spans 61 acres of organically farmed land in the heart of Napa Valley, dedicated to producing exceptional wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Bordeaux-style blends.
The vineyard’s history is intertwined with key dates: in 1864, John and Mary Steckter acquired the land; in 1922, Frank G. Manley became the owner; and in 1963, the Sullivan family took over. Since 1985, the Staglin family has managed the property, continuing to farm 61 acres of vineyards organically. The family mission is to produce world-class wines reflecting the distinctive character of the historic Rutherford Bench estate in Napa Valley. They farm the vineyard organically, use solar power, and produce wines in an ultramodern underground facility. The Staglin family is passionate about their business, land, philanthropy, and developing meaningful relationships.https://www.staglinfamily.com/
