The Scamperle family has cultivated vineyards for generations. Le Salette currently consists of 49 acres in the best areas of the Valpolicella Classico. La Marega vineyard is located in Fumane, in the heart of Valpolicella Classico DOCG area. This Amarone has an aging potential of over 25 years.

Vinification
Grapes are dried on tables in a well-ventilated area for 4 months. Fermentation in Slavonian botti at 64-68°F using natural yeasts for 50 days.

Aging Process
Minimum 36 months in Slavonian botti (70%) and in barriques (30%), 8 months of bottle refinement

Color: Dark ruby red color with garnet highlights
Bouquet: Intense perfumes of black cherries, toasted almonds and cocoa bean
Flavor: Elegant and structured with a long finish
Pairings: Perfect with game, red meats, roasts and aged cheeses
