  • Score: 86 Vintage 2022 Wine Advocate From the Aeolian Islands with volcanic soils, this is a blend of equal parts Nerello Mascalese and Corinto Nero. The Cantine Colosi 2022 Rosato opens to an electric pink color with a psychedelic purple haze. The wine's color is the big take-away. The bouquet is neutral with wild berry and a hint of cherry color or balsam herb. The mouthfeel has a touch of sweetness but is otherwise not too heavy. It's all middle of the road, save for the wine's striking appearance. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 90 Vintage 2021 Wine Enthusiast This organic and sustainably produced Sicilian rosé boasts rose petals, bricks, hibiscus iced tea and watermelon on the nose. Creamy and dense on the palate, it offers soil, flowers and now strawberry notes. The wine remains coherent and balanced through the finish and is an excellent value. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 89 Vintage 2021 Vinous Media The 2021 Rosé Nero d'Avola lifts from the glass with a sweetly scented bouquet of wild strawberries, dusty rose and white smoke. It washes across the palate with ease, soft-textured yet energetic, with ripe orchard fruits and nuances of chamomile that form toward the close. The 2021 leaves a pretty resonance of inner rose while finishing remarkably fresh. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 86 Vintage 2021 Wine Advocate Closed in a screw-cap bottle, the organic Cantine Colosi 2021 Sicilia Nero d'Avola Rosé Ecolosi opens to a very light pink color with amber highlights. With 20,000 bottles released, this easy-drinking wine is fresh and lightweight with cranberry, bitter almond and pink grapefruit. It sees stainless steel only. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 89 Vintage 2020 Vinous Media The 2020 Nero d'Avola Rosé mixes sweet roses with ripe strawberries and hints of spice to create a seductive display. It’s soft in texture with medium weight, showing ripe red and hints of blue fruit, as minerals and inner floral tones amass toward the close. This finishes with persistence, still buzzing with energy, as a twang of sour melon punctuates the experience nicely. The 2020 is packed full of character and, if tasted blind, you might believe you were drinking a red rather than a Rosé. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 87 Vintage 2020 Wine Advocate Here's a new wine from Cantine Colosi. A certified organic and vegan wine, the 2020 Sicilia Nero d'Avola Rosé Ecolosi (packaged in a screw-capped bottle) shows that bright ruby hue with copper shine that is characteristic of this versatile Sicilian grape. This is an easy and no-fuss rosé to twist open by the pool with some crudité and hummus. Sour cherry, dried raspberry and bitter almond define the bouquet. To the palate, this extreme value wine is thin and crisp with sweet candied berry flavors. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
  • Score: 86 Vintage 2020 Wine Enthusiast Certified organic and vegan, this informal wine has delicate scents recalling wild berries and Mediterranean brush. The easygoing palate offers tart cherry and blood orange alongside tangy acidity. It’s simple but well-made. Shelf Talker Full Page Review
