It’s soft-textured, more lifted and finessed than expected, with juicy blackberry fruits offset by sour citrus and savory herbal tones. Grippy tannins linger under an air of violets and lavender as the 2019 finishes structured, yet not severely so. Silìneo is primarily Sangiovese with a bit of Merlot and Corolino. Its textures are silky-smooth and pliant, contrasted by floral-tinged tart berries and a flourish of sour citrus that keeps the expressions lively. A hint of wild herbs and a gentle grip of tannin lingers.
